Important Health Reminder: Measles Awareness
We are receiving reports of positive measles cases in our area. We are sharing this information as a precaution to help protect our patients, families, and community. If you are unsure of your or your child’s vaccination status or immunity, we encourage you to contact your primary care provider or pediatrician.
Symptoms of measles may include:
- High fever
- Cough
- Runny nose
- Red or watery eyes
- Rash that typically begins on the face and spreads downward
If you or someone in your household may have measles or has been exposed:
Please contact the office BEFORE coming in. Do not arrive at the office without notifying us first. Our team will provide additional instructions to help protect you, our staff, and other patients.
