What inspires you to do your job?
Growing up in the foothills of Appalachia, Kentucky, amidst a family entrenched in healthcare, I witnessed firsthand the profound impact of compassionate care, igniting within me a passion for nursing and a desire to make a difference. Guided by this calling, I pursued a career dedicated to helping others navigate their health challenges, leading me to become a Nurse Practitioner. I am deeply honored to be part of this profession and look forward to embarking on a journey of healing, resilience and hope with my patients.
Professional Interests
In my practice, I am particularly passionate about women’s health, dedicating myself to providing care tailored to the unique needs of women. I find immense fulfillment in interacting with and involving women in their personal health treatment journeys. Engaging with patients and addressing their questions with clarity and empathy is a cornerstone of my approach, fostering trust and empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their health. Whether it’s navigating reproductive health, addressing concerns about wellness, or managing chronic conditions, I am committed to offering personalized care.
Personal Interests
I love spending time with my family, German Shepherd and cat. I love traveling to new places. I enjoy the Nashville Soccer Club, going to concerts, watching my son play Little League Baseball, Duke Basketball, Cincinnati Reds Baseball and Cincinnati Bengals Football. I like any outdoor activity.
Fun Fact
During my childhood, I clinched two Kentucky State Little League Championship titles and even nabbed a National Cheerleading Championship in 2015. Plus, I once dominated a watermelon eating championship at the County Fair. Finally, being from the same region as Loretta Lynn, I know all her songs by heart!
