What inspires you to do your job?
It was a lifelong dream for me to become a doctor. And to become one entailed a lot of hard work and sacrifice, not only for me, but for my family as well. Fortunately, I was blessed with a network of people who helped me through what seemed to be such an arduous goal back then. Now, it is with the same passion that I strive to deliver the care every patient deserves, always bearing in mind that I am only as good as the health outcomes I help them achieve. My patients’ needs help me to continuously learn and keep abreast of new ways to afford them the best care possible. We eventually become partners working on the same goal.
I am interested in the care of the adult diabetic. As well, I emphasize the role of diet, exercise and stress management for overall well being.
I love traveling and spending time outdoors with my daughter and family. I play softball and volleyball.
What is a little known fun fact about you?
Growing up, I was a member of the church and school choir.
