Michael Engel, MD

A Premier Family Physician since 2012, Dr. Michael Engel assumed the additional role of Medical Director in May of 2019. This experience, plus his 17 years of practice before moving to Clarksville, means he is more than up to the challenges of a thriving multi-specialty medical group.

“It has been a great pleasure to be a part of this dynamic group and to see the continuous improvements we make for the sake of patient care,” he says. “I get excited helping patients learn to protect their own health and to prevent disease. In my new administrative role, I can support and help lead further progress as medical care continues to evolve.”

Dr. Engel completed his medical training at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Cincinnati, Ohio and his residency in Family Medicine at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

The Engel family loves to travel and has been spotted more than once at the Magic Kingdom. Maybe that’s why the good doctor lives by the Walt Disney quote, “It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.”
